Select > Inverse ( Shift+Ctrl+I), Add vector mark , New layer , Add a layer style ,Gradient Overlay

He says to do that, but I don't think an option called "Add Vector Mark" exists...someone please help I'm stuck on this step!

Seems like an excellent tutorial! But unfortunately, it is not written for the beginners. I have searched all over the net, help files and books, but no one uses the term "Vector mark". So I have stuck there and have no idea what is it for, and how to add it... :)
